ReallySmallScience is a unique interdisciplinary research group led by Dr Mark Haw, Dr Joy Leckie and Sylvia Battcock from the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. Our aim is to make scientific research more accessible and fun for children through interactive hands-on activities. Ultimately, our ambition is to inspire future generations of scientists and engineers.

Awards

ReallySmallScience won an Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Award 2020 in the Public Engagement category.

ReallySmallScience won a Highly Commended Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Award 2015 in the Education and Training category. We were also highlighted by the IChemE President as one of ‘five projects raising the profile of chemical engineering’.
